CADILLAC EN CONCIERTO EXCLUSIVO














Queridos amigos:

Como colofón a la 1ª Temporada de Conciertos en MARMARA, que menos que terminar con uno de los mejores y más emblemáticos grupos del Pop Español de los 80's: CADILLAC, que nos presentará su nuevo disco "25 años", con sus éxitos de siempre y con nuevos temas.

"Pensando en ti", "Se ha cruzado un tonto", "Perdí mi oportunidad", son algunos de sus más exitosos temas y que recordaremos con la actuación en vivo de este extraordinario grupo.

HISTORIA

Se puede decir que CADILLAC comienza al principio de la década de los 80 junto a otros grupos que conformarán lo que se conoce como “La Movida Madrileña”.

Curiosamente todos ellos tienen un denominador común: su compañía de discos, Polygram, que apadrinó a artistas de la talla de Nacha Pop o Los Secretos y… CADILLAC. Éstos últimos se descolgaban de la “Movida” en la forma de cantar y componer, eran el conjunto de voces más feroz de aquel momento. Poco hay que decir oyendo sus cinco álbumes que son un legado:

1º.- Pensando en ti (1982) Polygram
2º.- Llegas de madrugada (1983) Polygram
3º.- Un día mas (1984) Polygram
4º.- Funkyllac (1985) Polygram
5º.- Valentino (1986) C.B.S.
6º.- 25 Años (2010) “Cadillac Music”

Con "Valentino" representaron a España en Eurovisión (Bergen, Noruega 1986) quedando en un goloso décimo puesto, difícil, en una época en la que predominaban los cantantes solistas.
ERAN AÑOS QUE EUROVISIÓN ERA EUROVISIÓN.

CADILLAC son:
Pedro A. Sánchez - teclados y voz
Eduardo Ramírez - bajo y voz

José Mª Guzmán - voz y guitarra

Por CADILLAC han pasado:
Pepe Marchante - guitarra y voz (en la etapa de "Funkyllac")
Javier de Juan - batería y percusión (sustituido por Daniel Jacques Louis desde el 2º álbum y que, desafortunadamente, ya no está con nosotros…)

Después de una veintena de años se reúnen y, como el primer día, sus voces han mejorado con el tiempo y la conjunción es aún mejor, si cabe. Deciden recopilar sus mejores canciones con nuevos arreglos y hacer un disco con su propia compañía, “Cadillac Music” .

Se han echado a la carretera…Será la ocasión perfecta para poder disfrutar de su música elegante y sencilla viéndoles en directo cómo estábamos acostumbrados. Quizás sea el mejor grupo de voces de pop español de todos los tiempos. Yo no me lo pierdo, y ¿tú?
